During the month of August of 1996 I had a rare opportunity. I was hired by Classic Worldwide Productions. Together, Bob Anderson, V.P. of Creative development for Classic, and I were responsible for all broadcast operations aboard the primary scientific vessle "Nadir" for the expedition.
We worked together with two other documentary crews from Discovery Channel and Discovery On Line daily throughout the month of August.
I designed, built and then assembled aboard the Nadir, a broadcast master control center to expedite aquisition, editing, archiving, and live broadcast of all onboard activities for the expedition, Bob acted as senior producer and talent for the taping and live transmission.

Here is some "eye candy" from our adventure
